Controlling the mouse with
your keyboard in Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me
If you have difficulties using your mouse, you can control your mouse from
the Keyboard.
To turn MouseKeys on:
- Click 'Start' or press the 'Windows' logo key or press 'Ctrl' + 'Esc'.
- Hover over 'Settings' or press 'S'.
- Click 'Control Panel' or press 'C'.
- Double click on 'Accessibility' Options or press 'A' until 'Accessibility'
Options is highlighted, and press 'Enter'.
- Click the 'Mouse' tab or press 'Ctrl' + 'Tab' until it is at the front.
- Check 'Use MouseKeys', or press 'Alt' + 'M'.
- Click 'OK' or press 'Enter' and use the numeric keypad to control the
mouse cursor. Number ‘5’ is the mouse button, and to alternate
between the left and right mouse buttons use the ‘/’, ‘*’
and ‘-‘, also located on the numeric keypad.
