Controlling the mouse with your keyboard in Mac OS X

If you have difficulties using your mouse, you can control your mouse from the Keyboard.

To turn MouseKeys on:

  1. Press 'Ctrl' + 'F2'.
  2. Click 'System Preferences' or press the down arrow key to highlight it and press 'Enter'.
  3. Click 'Universal Access' or press 'Tab' until 'Universal Access' is highlighted and press 'Spacebar'.
  4. Click 'Mouse' tab or press 'Ctrl' + 'F7' to highlight one of the four tabs and use the arrow keys to select the 'Mouse' tab.
  5. Click 'Mouse Keys' 'On' button or press 'Tab' to highlight the 'Mouse Keys' 'Off' and press 'left' to switch 'Mouse Keys' 'On'.
