Altering your colours in Firefox

If you are having difficulties with the colours displayed on web pages, altering the colours used may improve your experience.

  1. Click 'Edit' with the mouse or press 'Alt' + 'E'.
  2. Click 'Preferences', or press 'N'.
  3. Ensure 'General' option is selected.
  4. Click 'Fonts and Colors' or press 'F' to display the 'Fonts and Colors' dialog box.
  5. Click the 'Use system colors' checkbox, or press 'Tab' until the checkbox is highlighted and press 'Spacebar'.
  6. Check 'Always use my: Colors' or press 'Tab' until the box is highlighted and press 'Spacebar'.
  7. Press 'Enter' to return to the 'Preferences' window.
  8. Click 'OK' or Tab until 'OK' is selected and press 'Enter'.
