Reports and plans
All government departments must ensure that everything they do
represents best value for taxpayers' money and that they are fully
accountable to the public.
This means all HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) activities, including:
- collection of taxes such as VAT, income tax, corporation tax
- responsibility for payments of tax credits and benefits
- work at ports and airports
are all planned and prioritised to meet performance measures agreed
with government Ministers. Our performance is published each year
in our Annual Report.
Each year the Spring Departmental Report maps our goals, activities
and planned expenditure for the next 12 months.
Reports and plans published by the former Revenue and Customs Departments
for reference are also shown.
