Welcome to the eSourcing homepage
The HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) eSourcing solution, called Sourcing@HMRC, is a web-based application used to manage the sourcing process, from capturing supplier responses to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and Invitation to Tenders (ITT), through to evaluation and contract management.
Some of the key benefits for both buyers and suppliers include:
- reduced time and cost in responding to and evaluating tenders
- increased opportunity for a broader selection of suppliers
- improved visibility and governance of sourcing activities
- clear and easily accessible audit trails
For suppliers to take part in an eSourcing event, they initially need to submit an expression of interest to a tender advertised by HMRC (generally in trade journals or Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU)). In certain circumstances they may also be invited to submit a tender response if the requirement is related to a specific framework agreement.
